Pool Health + Safety

  • All injuries and accidents occurring on NWB property must be reported immediately to the Pool Manager.
  • In the event of an emergency, lifeguards will clear the pool by (3) three blows of a whistle. All persons must exit the pool immediately upon such a signal.
  • Disruptive, unsafe and/or hazardous behavior on NWB property is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, running on the pool deck, pushing, fighting, use of foul language, roughhousing, skateboarding, using squirt guns and super soakers, and following to follow instructions of the lifeguards or Pool Manager.
  • Glass and other breakable objects are not permitted on NWB property.
  • Children not yet toilet trained must wear swim diapers when they are in any of the pools. If the diaper becomes soiled, the child must leave the pool immediately, be given a shower using soap, and rediapered before reentering the pool.
  • The Pool Manager has the discretion to restrict the number of people using the pool at any time if safety is a concern.
  • The Pool Manager and lifeguards have the authority and discretion to take whatever action they deem necessary to ensure the safety, protection and well-being of all individuals at the pool and ensure clean and efficient operation of the facilities at all times. This authority includes, but is not limited to, removing persons from the pool if necessary.
  • Lifeguards are not permitted to conduct personal supervision of any child except during instructional periods.
  • A list of all the pool rules for Northwest Branch Recreation, Inc is posted on the Pool’s website www.nwbranchpool.com and at the front desk. By entering and using the pool facilities, you agree to abide by these rules.
